He's played on loan elsewhere in the last couple of seasons - MK Dons in League One in 2016/17; then played at Barnsley for the first half of last season. Good move for him as it looks like opportunities will be limited again for him - but the standard at West Brom is likely to be considerably higher than Barnsley & MK Dons so hopefully should aid his development even more for when he comes back.
