Some of the quick passing from us is very encouraging. You compare this to the way we used to play when Allardyce first arrived and it's world's apart.

Hodgson might not be the right man to bring into a club to right the ship when a club has failed to match ambition... but he's fantastic at taking mid-table clubs and building them up. You look hard as fuck to beat and capable of playing some very nice stuff.

it's very narrow at times and Palace getting players around those 2 very quickly. As soon as Salah comes inside he's taking up Firmino's space, because he doesn't move out the way. The quick passing is all well and good when it comes off but it's made even more difficult when 4 or 5 Palace players all crowd around. You're not quite Barcelona just yet ;)

Firmino is usually excellent at creating space, his movement is fantastic.

That's what I mean by he's still a little off the pace ;)

Wan-Bissaka is brilliant. Matching levels of Keita in this game now.

Pacy, powerful and strong, good control, good passing, showed good composure just then before the cross. Didn't get on the bandwagon from the last game as it was only Fulham (no disrespect) and it was only one game.

On the other hand, is Zaha playing? Alexander-Arnold is nullifying him very well.

Yeah he seems a bit off the pace for sure. Early in the season after a World Cup though, not exactly unexpected.

Wan-Bissaka looks like their best player by far as things stand.

Same old Salah and Liverpool. He’s thrown himself to the floor and won himself a pen. Never in doubt that Oliver would give it

Yeah how many penalties did we get last season, being probably one of the sides with the ball in the box in our league?

A whopping TWO xD

Doesn't stop it being classic Salah diving - does it all over the pitch. That was so unnatural just threw himself to the floor. So so soft.

The least of any team in the league I believe.... but let's not spoil their fun xD

It's a foul. It's also a dive. Penalty the right call for me even if it's soft. More because other penalties have been given for the same thing than because penalties should be given for that but that's the state of the sport now.
