Used to love this league. It's changed from, who will win the league, to, how many points will Bayern win the league by?

Barcelona has won 7 of the past 10 La Liga titles
Juventus have won 7 of the past 10 in Serie A
Bayern Munch have won 7 out of the past 10 Bundesliga titles.

Italy is just as one horsed mind you. However, if we were to change the context

Bundesliga has had 1 winner in the past 6 Years

La Liga has had 3 winners in the past 6 years

Premier League has had 4 winners in the past 6 years

Bayern and Juventus are on par with how dominant they are within their respective league. Add in PSG in France, and it's just not entertaining.

The EPL is the least 'one sided' league out there I'd say.

Throw Bayern out and we'll have a great, competitive, extremely even and well-balanced league. Problem solved

They have outgrown the league a long long time ago, and the gap only gets bigger and bigger. Can't wait for them to fuck off to the European Super League or whatever it will be called.

I don't get the rule that champion has to participate in first match of new season. Gladbach vs Leverkusen or Dortmund vs Leipzig would fit for opening game better.

I have always viewed Sunday matches are the marquee ones, which would make sense this week Dortmund and RB.

Finally it's back!

The lineups for the season opener:

Bayern: Neuer, Kimmich, Boateng, Süle, Alaba, Javi Martinez, Thiago, Coman, Müller, Ribéry, Lewandowski.
Hoffenheim:  Baumann, Adams, Vogt, Bicakcic, Kaderabek, Grillitsch, Schulz, Grifo, Bittencourt, Joelinton, Szalai.

Boateng starting instead of Hummels.

Bittencunt the clown.... M****er didn't even touch him.

Bayern players doing the same thing.. had the one on the edge of the box just before that with the player trying to claim he copped one in the neck... they are all at it..

Last thing you need to be picking up in the fist game of the season... hopefully a bit worse looking than it seems..

It's also the same ankle he had surgery for syndesmosis a few months back already...

I'm willing to bet Adams will get sent off today.
