They’re littered with players from the Championship who Bournemouth took a chance on who will need to prove themselves going back up next season

Yeah, the defence in particular with Kelly, Mepham and Stacey need to pull their finger out as from what ive seen they havent performed remotely close to the levels that were set before them.

Lerma could be a massive player if he stays. I have never particularly rated him at PL level but a drop down a divison could see him come out his shell a bit.

'Around 10' staff members at Cherries made redundant following relegation from Premier League

CHERRIES have made "around 10" members of staff redundant, the Daily Echo understands.

Following a combination of relegation from the Premier League and the financial impacts of COVID-19, Cherries have looked for ways of cutting costs across the club.

And, as initially reported in Mail Online, the recruitment department has been the hardest hit with staff in scouting and analytics believed to have been affected by the redundancies, with around 10 people set to lose their jobs.

Earlier this summer, Arsenal announced plans to make 55 members of staff at their club redundant due to the effects to the business of the coronavirus pandemic.

Clubs have been hit by the fact no fans have been allowed into stadiums since football resumed in June.

That didn't last long then.

Wonder who they'll pick next.

When's the last time that appointing a previous manager's assistant worked out? Always seems to end poorly. Although in this case, seems to have been a rather poor month rather than a poor overall season.

I can't think of anyone else that's worked out successfully.

When we hired Shakespeare we won 5 in a row and progressed in the Champions League, then when he was actually hired permanently he lasted barely 3 months.

Frank isn't stupid, no matter how rich you are your not going to turn down 1.8 Million for sitting on your backside.

He will take a break and come back in the summer 1.8 million better off no doubt in a half decent job because having Frank in charge brings a lot of attention to any club.

Yes, but was he that bad or was he a victim of player power/tantrums?

He was a fool for taking the job of his dreams so soon but then the fact he was offered the job you can't really blame him for taking it as it might not come round again.

Roman isn't going to change for anyone Tuchel will have his head on the pay out already no doubt about it but he will just be wanting to the best he can between now and his eventual departure.

Find it strange such a well regarded coach would take the Chelsea job straight off the back of the PSG job myself.
