You really have to sympathise for the likes of Joe Rodon that his international career is now being hampered by this unhealthy obsession to tie up English players in case they turn out good. I’m sure I read Lawrence grew up in Europe, after moving as a kid, so it’s not as though he’s come through at an English club, played all his career in England and hasn’t been to Wales.
