Barcelona's Average Wage Salary Over £10m

Barcelona have become the first sports team to pay its players an average salary of more than £10m per year.

The Spanish club have moved back to the top of the Global Sports Salaries Survey, paying an average of £10.46m per year in basic salary only, not including any bonuses or signing-on fees.

Anomalies can sometimes be marketed as chasing unicorns as with Brexit (apologies for bring up the international divorce)... How about winning it all in one year to prove a point about who's the best without going into the semantics of only winning two league titles in a decade of football.

All that really shows is how utterly shite European football must actually be right now. If they had faced the side that spank them every season in the league, then it's very doubtful they'd have won them.
