Andy Robertson - Best Left-Back in Europe?

Recommended Posts

Only cost £8m yet is an absolute beast in almost every game.

Surely got to be considered one of the best?

Nope. Probably just sneaks into the top 10 in Europe and top 3 in the Prem.

Don't know enough about the other top left backs to say but he's certainly exceeded expectations and I'm made up for him, despite being angry we got so little for him.

Chilwell > Robertson.

Chilwell was free and plays for a better national side.

Alexis Sanchez Id say is better, done a solid job for Mourinho.

Tbh I might agree with that. But i still think that's pretty damn good and in grateful that we've got him. And that we're the the strongest that we've been at LB in a very long time.

Can you really measure how good a player is by his nationality?

Of course not!

By that logic Giroud is better than Lewandowski.

In any case the obvious answer is that he's the best LB in Europe.

After Kieran Tierney.

Let’s wait until tomorrow lads. Critical CL tie where a win is needed.

Yeah I don't remember us ever having a LB this good*. Aurelio was great when he was fit but missed half a season every season.

*don't anyone dare mention Riise!

Chilwell hasn't even lost a game for England.

Always the barometer.

I reckon he's the best in the league. Think maybe only Alex Sandro, Alba, Marcelo, and Alaba are better.
