Didn't expect Oblak to receive such backing, only two votes away from being joint top :o

To be honest I agree with the way the voting is going so far.  At least from my perspective 2018 reads like this although in my option Ter Stegen should be ahead with Oblak second (they're both on 10 a piece now with Machado's change of vote) and De Gea in third position.  Indeed De Gea has made some picture saves this year but he hasn't been at his dominant self like previously to 2018. His World Cup wasn't good and Infact he is being questioned when he lays for Spain with some calling for Kepa to replace the Man Utd keeper.

Oblak has been brilliant for a long time and is definitely one of the best. Mi think the top three are as it is right now.

Donnarumma had a disastrous 2018, his worst since he came to prominence as a very young pretender to being one of the best in the future.  I question his inclusion but even so, voting him as the best for 2018 requires substantial explaining.

Why do some vote and then not back their reasons?
