Calvert-Lewin and Zouma in for Walcott and Gueye. Three centre halves for the first time this season. Don't think we'll get battered too badly but we will lose today.

Transferred Sterling in to my fantasy league team.

Doesn't start.

Classic Stan.

City have been playing midweek football so won't have the legs to go all out

They have such strength in depth though.

Being able to bring on Sterling, Aguero and De Bruyne aren't bad options!

It's still very odd for a team from Manchester to play the Beatles as the last song to get the crowd up against a team from Liverpool.

Who's this co commentator? Reckons Digne gets "caught out defensively time and again" because he made one mistake. Okay mate, now everyone knows this is the first Everton game you've seen this season.

1-0. Jesus turning up around Christmas. Shock.

Jesus is still shite.

Not just because we've just gone behind but all I feel watching this game is a huge sense of disillusionment with football knowing that one of if not the best team in the world here is merely a product of years of oil money, corruption and moral bankruptcy. The players on the pitch I'm sure are honest enough young men getting on with their jobs, but in terms of the club Manchester City earning their position in the football world, they just haven't.

Just to keep @SirBalon in the loop with whats fashionable wear around the grounds today...

Minus the Man City beanie, that’s a style I usually do wear many days to be honest. xD

Everton can't get in to the game at all. Can't find any rhythm or moves to threaten Man City. Not the first team to suffer that fate, won't be the last.

This is just depressing. Disagree with the commentator on why we're still trying to play the ball out against these. No point trying to get better at that type of football if it goes out of the window in favour of some brand of hoof ball. We are correct to prioritise developing our game for the long term than to be slightly more pragmatic for a one off game that we'll probably lose either way or improbably pick up one point that will almost definitely make no difference to our final league position anyway.

Pickford with the second best performance by an Everton keeper away at City in the last three years, not bad.

Pickford made some good saves in that half but he's really poor for the goal

2-0!

Jesus again. Good cross from Sane. Should be defended better though. How he gets a free header in between two centre backs is poor defending.
