Mel81x 2,259 Posted December 14, 2018 Good relaxing game for Arsenal in this one considering they've got the better attack component and Southampton can't seem to get out of the rut they are in. Might even see a repeat of that FA Cup score.

At the rate you are going you'd get about 35 points which should keep you up

The last 2 seasons it would have been enough but I get what you mean. To he fair some people thought they would do worse than derby so they have done better than most expected

Guest Cannabis Posted December 16, 2018 8 - Arsenal have started brightly, Miki should have done better after just being played through. Saints fans are loud though which is great considering they're at home.
Guest Cannabis Posted December 16, 2018 10 - Arsenal fans singing ''Shall we sing a song for you?'' . How the mighty have fallen, such a tinpot chant. Saints growing into this, Vestergaard especially looks up for it and has just sent Ings through, Leno mopping up. Can definitely see an early goal as both sides are looking direct. Break in the game as I type with Nathan Redmond going down, Xhaka unintentionally catching him on the ankle.
Guest Cannabis Posted December 16, 2018 13 - Redmond back on the pitch and goes close, deflected off an Arsenal body for a corner. Comes to nothing in the end though despite Leno looking rather shakey. Sky Sports have just apologised as Arsenal can be heard singing ''You're fucking shit ''. Stan 10,926 Posted December 16, 2018 Hate that apology shit when the crowd chants something not offensive at all.
Guest Cannabis Posted December 16, 2018 18 - Southampton are looking really good on the counter, Arsenal give away cheap possession and through Hojberg, Redmond and Armstrong it's a shot on target. Easy enough for Leno in the end but the intent is there. By comparison, Danny Ings has looked really poor up top and could well be finished at this level - Bambi on Ice showing so far . Stan 10,926 Posted December 16, 2018 Good goal! Lovely cross, right on to the head of Ings.
RandoEFC 4,823 Posted December 16, 2018 Cracking ball from Targett. Koscielny showing his rustiness there.
Inverted 1,345 Posted December 16, 2018 Armstrong, Højbjerg, Romeu is not a midfield that should be relegated.
Guest Cannabis Posted December 16, 2018 Love the ''Danny Ings, he's one of our own shouts''. Played for them as a schoolboy and was released, made it into football through their rivals Bournemouth before coming back to the team on loan this season. Hardly as though he's come through an Ajax-style academy from the age of 3 and started tearing the league apart .
Guest Cannabis Posted December 16, 2018 23 - Momentum is all with Southampton, will be interesting if they go 2-0 ahead what happens. Redmond has been class so far but has just lost possession, nothing to really report on the other side of the pitch. The likes of Iwobi, Aubamayang and Miki very quiet although admittedly having little to no service.
Guest Cannabis Posted December 16, 2018 27 - Totally against the run of play Arsenal are level, Iwobi breaks down the left and passes it onto the overlapping Monreal. It's whipped in towards Aubamayang but the unmarked Miki heads the ball home from the penalty spot. It's level! 1-1.

Stan 10,926 Posted December 16, 2018 Quality saving block from the defender there. Decent game so far. Can see the effect the new Saints boss has had on the side. Playing with much more vigour and desire.
Guest Cannabis Posted December 16, 2018 31 - Arsenal nearly make it 2-1, ball whipped in and Aubamayang is on the six-yard line with an open goal but somehow Southampton scramble it away. Targett pumps a ball into the final third moments later but Vestergaard heads way over. Bit of a ding-dong finish to the half with either side likely to score. CaaC (John) 2,730 Posted December 16, 2018 Ex-United little shit lol.
Guest Cannabis Posted December 16, 2018 35 - Arsenal determined to play out from the back but Southampton are pressing really well, Leno nearly getting himself into trouble. Armstrong on the left has played brilliant so far.
RandoEFC 4,823 Posted December 16, 2018 2-1! Ings header loops improbably into the top corner. Definition of the postage stamp right there and off another clever ball from Redmond.
Stan 10,926 Posted December 16, 2018 2-1. Ings again!
Guest Cannabis Posted December 16, 2018 43 - Sexy AF. Redmond chips the ball into the box and takes out the two centre-halves. Danny Ings heads the ball high and long, looping right over Leno who stands and watches. Saints lead! Bellerin down injured too adding salt into the wounds for Arsenal.
