Meh. Another one of those 1-1s wouldn't surprise me and wouldn't be the worst result.

We've had a few poor games recently but this is the type of game where you've got nothing to lose as a result because you're already in a bit of a dip. We've got enough about us to win this game if Spurs are below their best but if both teams play to their full potential, they're simply better than us and should win.

What the fuck is our defence doing? Just stand and watch Alli poke in the rebound unchallenged? Gomes literally looks and sees him coming and jogs away at an angle. Great save from Pickford initially. Neville sat there trying to make it his fault again though just proving the media agenda beyond all doubt.

Still, imagine how different the game would be if we'd had a 2-0 lead like we should.

Our luck against the big six is literally unbelievable. That could have gone anywhere, falls straight to Kanes feet.

Pickford probably should have done better there by scorpion kicking it clear and into the top corner at the other end.

Game over anyway, no way we score two now without conceding again.

That Son goal can really set a team back. One of Pickford or Zouma needs to take initiative and boot the bloody ball in to Row Z. Even if you clean out your own player in the process, at least you'd have stopped that embarrassment from happening.

That 2nd goal for Everton should have stood for sure. It's barely a push. Barely a foul it at all. Poor from the ref there to disallow that. You see players get away with worse at corners when headers are scored.

Shite officiating, shite defending and a bit of shite luck. Not good enough.

It doesn't excuse our poor defending for all three goals but the referee changes the game by disallowing a perfectly good second goal. People keep bleating about how we've got some sort of mental issue against the top six and ignore the constant decisions that go against us.

Arsenal away Aubameyang scores a clearly offside second goal for them and kills the game, people call it a collapse from us. United away they get a soft penalty in the first half and win 2-1, Chelsea away Jorginho gets away with a clear red card challenge on Sigurdsson in the first half which would have given us the majority of the game to play against ten men in a game we managed to get a point against eleven, today we get denied a two goal lead for no reason. Sure, we need to be more resilient in these circumstances and our game management today has been non existent but we get so much stick for not turning up against the big six sides, four of the six fixtures we've played against them this season we've gone in with a 1-0 head start to our already superior opposition thanks to dreadful officiating.

Just hope this doesn't get ugly second half. I don't accept that Pickford was the main person at fault for the first goal or significantly at fault for the second, just because Gary Neville says he is, but he clearly needs his head rattling, as we can see from that challenge on Alli at the end. The goalkeeper needs to calm the fuck down because being hyperactive Pickford isn't settling Keane and Zouma who are being pulled every which way due to Coleman being persistently caught upfield and the midfield offering no protection.

We're also trying to force killer passes too early in the final third which just means we're constantly giving the ball away while Digne and Coleman are in the middle of bombing forward and just bending over ready for Spurs' counter attacks to take us.

Been full of praise for Gomes all season but his lack of a challenge on Alli for that second goal is disgraceful.
