This topic is extremely important for the turks (grrrreat people) as Erdoğan says naysayers risk afterlife as well. Maybe not so much for Europe, as according to the very same Erdogan, this center of Nazism is rotting anyways.

Discuss, predict, take a jibe at Erdoğan.

It's always funny when you hear pro-Erdogan people talking. They say he made the country what it is, he brought them economic strength and all that. Is that why they're constantly asking other countries for loans? The tourism has practically broken down, so they'll only spiral further into disaster. Seems like the brainwashing from the Erdogan controlled Turkish Media is working quite well.

Global Britain and the League of Deplorable Regimes has a nice ring to it.

Does Turkey have enough oil money to buy us though? We don't bend over for any random dictator. Only rich ones.

We already get a lot of our clothing from Turkish sweatshops where Syrian children work for nothing. Just wait til we are out of the customs union with Turkey and can lower clothing tariffs on everyone so child abusers can compete with each other more fairly.

Most of the yes-votes came from Turks living in Germany, Holland etc. They should just move to Turkey then, and see if they'd still like it. Let's see if their glorious leader is still so great up-close when you actually have to live in those conditions.

This vote is in keeping with the Brexit and Trump votes, a radical shift to the right. A right-wing with an Islamic focus is still right-wing.

Just like with Brexit it seems like the large urban centres are home to less reactionary, conservative people and voted against Erdogan. I think we need to see urban centres become free city states, they are totally out of sync with the creeping nationalism of the countryside and small towns.

Except several major urban areas voted for Brexit.

On topic I wouldn't be surprised at all if he's rigged this vote.
