In totally disagree with him on his concept of how talent should be observed and rewarded with a status.

Just because you're a football freestyler and you can manipulate the ball like in a circus act doesn't mean you're gonna end up being a great footballer.  That's not valid talent for football!

The combination of everything is a must and a player has to be able to execute his technique by converting it into results depending on where he plays on the field.

My favorite was from Cruyff.

Technique is not being able to juggle a ball 1000 times. Anyone can do that by practicing. Then you can work in the circus. Technique is passing the ball with one touch, with the right speed, at the right foot of your team mate.

Someone who has juggled the ball in the air during a game, after which four defenders of the opponent get the time to run back, that’s the player people think is great. I say he has to go to a circus.

Colombia isn't and has never been a better talent producer than us, that's just your imagination. Us and Brazil have always been the top 2 talent producers in the Americans and among the top 5 in the world and continue to do so.

From Asia Japan is preparing their U23s for the Olympics and the current Japanese coach was in fact in charge of the U23s before so if he stays and the youth come up to the top level they can have a really fun generation of players.

Argentina in South America, club scene in Argentina is far better than Brazil which i think would make a clear gap between the two in future.
