If it wasn’t on their website, I’d have questioned the validity of this as the cost of advertising hoardings at non-league clubs can be pretty affordable and it could have just been a joke between a load of blokes.

A 1.25m x 2.5m advertising hoarding at Blyth Spartans for one season costs £100 for the manufacture of the hoarding and and additional £100-£150 depending on where it’s placed in the stadium.
