Administrator Stan Posted January 3, 2019 Administrator Share Posted January 3, 2019 If true, this could be the deal that could wrap up the title for them. Great signing for them.
The Artful Dodger
He's struggled at Bournemouth, now while the SPL is a step down in quality it isn't just a retirement home. Many strikers have gone up there in there mid 30s and not been prolific, he'll have to be prepared for a dog fight.
Smiley Culture
His biggest issue will be his fitness or lack of it. He’s barely played so I wonder how his level of match fitness is but if up to scratch, he could be one of Rangers’ best signings for a long time. Subscriber JoshBRFC+ Posted January 3, 2019 Subscriber Share Posted January 3, 2019 Surely he will tear this pish poor league up, if he shows even 50% of what he can do.

They said that about Barton too. If he goes with that attitude then he certainly will not.

Yeah but isn't Kenny Miller still scoring in Scotland?

Barton completely underestimated how physical the Scottish game is. He thought he could stroll it and he got walked all over. His ego was his problem. Honey Honey
Defoe only scored in 2 of his last 16 games for Sunderland. Everyone went yeah but that's Sunderland. He went to Bournemouth and only scored in 2 of 11 starts last season. Proving to be not good enough to start. This could go either way but if the financials are right might be worth a punt. ScoRoss
Think he'll be a good signing for Rangers. He only has to be a backup for Morelos, although with his disciplinary record that might be a lot of games. He joins at a good time, with at least two weeks until their next game, he can almost have a mini preseason in preparation.

Dr. Gonzo
How’s he doing in Scotland? Wikipedia says he’s scored 3 in 4, that’s not bad at all

He gets my full respect for the time he spent with young terminally ill Bradley Lowery and sent a message out when the young lad passed away.
