Lot's of couples have watched porn together if not for just the experience of doing it then the ideas it might conjure up for each of them.. Sometimes it can enhance a relationship as long as both of you enjoy a healthy sexual relationship in the first place.. I can't imagine how many couples have indulged in making their own home movies for example which they watch later on together.. It could be argued though that too much of it can't be good for you in the long term as they are basically acting out scenarios that are unrealistic for most people who don't indulge in such activities in the first place and in most cases probably makes one or the other feel uncomfortable but is tolerated for a short time to keep one or the other happy.. If porn is a full time hobby though I think the expectation of what you might get in a real life situation compared to what you see/like on the screen gets blurred.. If for example you wanted to try doing some of the stuff you see but your partner does not then frustration can set in for one of you and that's where the problem starts and then suddenly one of you may find they are indulging in the pastime alone which is ok if you are single I suppose but certainly not if you are in a relationship..
