Just tuned in just after HT.

First time I'll be able to watch an Almiron-less Atlanta...

Yeah - pretty good performance. Nice to see us win again, and even better to see Pity finally score. So far without Barco we still look incredibly dangerous.

Are midweek games often in the MLS?

They are. Especially with a major break coming up, the MLS tends to stick as many games as possible in there.

Atlanta is really getting screwed.

Wednesday at Vancouver (As far away as possible)
Sun at New York (Another Cross Country trip)
Friday at Salt Lake (Another cross Country trip)

Yeah, the travelling aspect was why I was shocked there were midweek games. I automatically assumed it was all weekend games due to the travelling across the US and Canada that players will do.

This fixture congestion is showing already in the Toronto vs DC match. Neither team look fresh, and they both played Sunday, and again this weekend. DC play a week ago also, which explains why this match has been slow thus far.

Penalty kick to Atlanta!

Josef and Pity causing a lot of issues for Vancouver, and Pity is ran over in the box.

Up next, Josef for a PK.

1-0 at Halftime.

Atlanta are totaling dominating all facets of this game, yet it remains 1-0. Vancouver don't have any shots, and without that clumsy tackle from Vancouver in the box, Atlanta have yet to create an open play goal.

Save of the year there from Vancouver.

Villalba had a breakaway that was blocked, follow up by Pity was also punched, and the direct header from Josef was caught by the keeper.

Atlanta need to be careful, and that just got a lot of energy in the stadium, which they haven't had since early.

Justin Meram is coming off. Congrats to him on his first Atlanta United match.

Gressel on and now we are 4x more dangerous.

ANOTHER point blank save from Vancouver's keeper.

We are going to really be pissed if we drop any points here.

And that's it! Atlanta wins 1-0.

It got a little rough at the end, but that's a massive 3 points considering the amount of talent we rested.

And it's the first time in MLS history that a team has had 5 consecutive shutouts.

Vamos Atlanta!

Had no idea Florentin Pogba moved to Atlanta! Thought he was alright in Ligue 1.

Nope - he has been with Atlanta 2 since joining us a few months ago, but with all the traveling, they decided to give him the nod to start.

I'll be honest in saying that outside the deadly combo of Josef, Villalba, & Pity, Pogba might have been the best player last night.

Only just seen the video of the Minnesota United fans singing Wonderwall pre-match, superb.

I think they only do it after a win at home no?

No idea. Just seen a video of them doing it on Facebook and presumed it was some European style pre-game thing they had adopted. Either way, I’m a fan.

Yeah - I'm pretty sure it's what they do post game after a win.

I rather enjoy it myself.

And despite being a man down, New York RB have scored in the counter.

Atlanta down 1-0

That was poor from everyone. Losing a game when having a man advantage for an hour is just pitiful.

LAFC draw late thanks for a penalty by Vela in the 80' minute.
