On the other hand, it's less than two weeks since Man City lost to Newcastle. I'm laughing more at his comment that he makes 178 times a day to be honest. Of course City are better and so they should be. Put both of these together in a game like this and we get shown up... The mentality of the players is one of the problems, the fact that they are 1 or 2 levels below the standard for being a top 3 contender is another... You could throw Sarris tactics or lack thereof in there as another reason but if those 11 players are producing non league football standards even tactical skill wouldn't stop them defending like 10 year olds.. Sarri said at the beginning of the season that he felt we were not anywhere near close to what City and Liverpool have.. After drawing with Liverpool he said he felt we were a lot closer than he thought... I don't think we all need to hear what his thoughts will be after recent games and in particular today..
