I'm probably gonna regret this, but I'll go with Nantes. Lyon's dressing room problems and bad form have made me doubt them even though they're against a club they should beat who have nothing to fight for.

Results - Gameweek Two

Casualties (4)

Half of the remaining field have been wiped out in just the second week of the Farmers' League edition of Last Man Standing. Top half Nice hosting bottom club Caen looked like a firm home banker, but this week's most popular pick failed to convert their favourites' tag into three points, missing a first half penalty before conceding a late winning goal, the only one in the game. As a result, we bid Au Revoir to @Eco, @Stan, @Bluewolf and @StefBWFC. Thanks for playing guys, you have one extra point to show for your efforts in the final round.

Survivors (4)

The other popular pick this weekend, Lyon, got the Last Man Standing crew off to a winning start on Friday evening, Depay and Terrier handing their side a 2-1 victory over Angers, and carrying @RandoEFC, @Lucas and @Viva la FCB into the third gameweek. @...Dan had reservations over his pick of Nantes, and they had a wobble after leading Amiens 3-0 after 60 minutes, but held on to claim a 3-2 win. Congratulations to our four survivors, who successfully progress to Gameweek Three, where the tie breaker will come into effect.

Preview - Gameweek Three

Welcome to Gameweek Three - fixtures take place from Friday 26th April all the way through to Wednesday 1st May. As we have less than five survivors now, we will use the tie breaker of First Goalscorer that will come into effect in the event that every surviving contender fails to pick a match winner in the same week. Just to remind you, the First Goalscorer will be decided by the minute that they score their first goal. E.G. If Mbappe scores in the 14th minute on Sunday, that trumps a Memphis Depay goal in the 71st minute on Friday night.

Below are this week's fixtures with odds, you cannot use the same team twice and remember to pick a first goalscorer.

Bordeaux (5.50) vs Lyon (1.66)

Amiens (2.30) vs Strasbourg (3.20)

Angers (2.50) vs Reims (2.90)

Caen (2.55) vs Dijon (2.87)

Lille (1.50) vs Nimes (7.00)

Nice (1.95) vs Guingamp (4.20)

Saint-Etienne (1.55) vs Toulouse (6.00)

Marseille (1.50) vs Nantes (7.00)

Montpellier (8.50) vs PSG (1.36)

Rennes (2.37) vs Monaco (3.00)

My pick for Gameweek Three is PSG and my Goalscorer is Nicolas Pepe.

Gameweek Three - Results

Casualties (1)

This week's only victim is @RandoEFC, who suffers at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain's latest calamity on Tuesday evening. Looking to put their cup final farce to bed, the French champions conceded twice in the last 10 minutes to go down to Montpellier by three goals to two. Rando ends this round with 2 points, with the possibility of a bonus point if the runners up are joint 2nd.

Survivors (3)

Making the most of his local knowledge, @...Dan finds himself in fine company in the last three of this edition of Last Man Standing, joining league leader @Viva la FCB in backing Lille to defeat Nimes on Sunday afternoon, which they did in emphatic fashion, putting five past their mid-table opposition. Second-placed @Lucas also finds a comfortable route into Gameweek Four, as two unanswered goals for Robert Beric in the first ten minutes ensure Saint-Etienne's victory over Toulouse.

Congratulations on your latest survival. That's three points on the board for each survivor, with the chance to increase this score and a guarantee of at least one bonus point for finishing on the podium.

Gameweek Four - Preview

Below are the fixtures for this week with betting odds. Please remember to pick a match winner and a first goalscorer for the tie breaker which will come into play if nobody successfully picks a winning team. Games this week run from Friday evening to Sunday night.

Strasbourg (4.00) vs Marseille (1.90)

PSG (1.18) vs Nice (13.00)

Bordeaux (2.25) vs Angers (3.40)

Guingamp (1.80) vs Caen (4.75)

Reims (1.80) vs Nimes (4.33)

Montpellier (1.83) vs Amiens (4.20)

Nantes (2.00) vs Dijon (3.75)

Toulouse (2.37) vs Rennes (3.00)

Monaco (2.37) vs Saint-Etienne (2.90)

Lyon (1.66) vs Lille (5.50)

Tricky week, with even PSG looking capable of severe bullshit. Remember not to pick any duplicates and good luck!
