The Standard-Anderlecht match was abandoned after thirty minutes tonight due to crowd trouble. Anderlecht had just gone 2-0 down after a penalty for Standard and a red card for an Anderlecht player.

Some suggestions that there's some racial chanting involved but not sure.

I have been away from European football for a while, and have decided to follow the Belgian Pro League to return to it. 3 matchdays left, Genk up top and I believe can end as champions should things go their way on sunday.

Just put on Gent vs Club Brugge. 0-0 in 8 minutes. Dylan Bronn who I thought looked a talent at the World Cup is starting for the home side.

Genk's lineup including new signing Carlos Cuesta.

They play Mechelen in the Supercup shortly. Should be a good game.

@Grizzly21 Aldalberto Penaranda moves to KAS Eupen from Watford on loan.

I saw! A bit disappointing, as he's 22 now but he's not really shown why he should start for Watford. Reminds me a lot of Carrillo. Great on the ball but very inconsistent and doesn't always show it.

Genk have a great record in producing seriously good talent.

That is probably in the top five in Europe in the last ten years. Genk for god sake. Absolutely brilliant.

Antwerp got a load of money? Seen they’ve signed Mirallas, Defour and someone else who’s name escapes me and I know these players haven’t exactly ripped it up lately but they seem pretty big names for a team famed for being where United used to send players like Ronnie Wallwork.

Mirallas was a free transfer as we were so desperate to get him off the wage bill but not sure about the rest.
