According to kicker Hertha BSC only sort of part with Dardai, since he had signed a contract as youth coach from 2020 on. This would make it unlikely you'll see him as Bundesliga coach for a while.

Edit: Does anybody know, who the candidates for his succession are?

Strange this!  He has always been great at bringing on the younger talented players but somehow one of the best he has now has not been performing for him - substituted again this weekend.  Why hasn't David Selke progressed at Hertha?  When he played as a kid with Leon and Max he was , at times, awesome and hard to get the ball off him.  Will he stay in Berlin under a new coach?  There is certainly a spare place in Gelsenkirchen David could easily fill!  Another possible venue for Herr Wagner?

I've read of Stöger, Tedesco and Roger Schmidt being prime candidates.
