Remarkable achievement for Tatjana Maria. She's a two time mother as well. :o

But I was rooting for Jule! Still a great run for her first Wimbledon appearance.

Goffin and Norrie going to the wire. Thought Goffin was on track to take it in four but Norrie has been really gutsy to stay in it and is playing his best tennis toward the end of the decider.

Annoying to see Djokovic come back but even when they are two sets down, you'd still not back against Novak or Rafa to turn it around.

There are rare occasions of course bit usually the rest are not quite at that level enough to go for the kill against these guys.

Hoping for a Kygrios/Rafa semi tomorrow. That one would really fascinate me.

Kygrios breezed through. He's getting better as he goes, that serve is really clicking for him.

Gameface on for him now, he's in uncharted waters, first Grandslam semi, you'd back him for the final at this rate.

Can't believe Nadal got through :o

Left just before the 4th and thought he'd end up retiring hurt. Shocked but happy to see he went through!

Kyrgios is due to face some sort of domestic assault charge when he returns to Australia. Another reason not to buy into the "oh he's such a maverick, McEnroe come again, people just don't like him because he's confident and Wimbledon people are just being snooty and he's *Box Office*" stuff. He's a tit.

Shame for Nadal but ultimately I think asking to win a semi and a final was going to be too much with the abdominal pain.

It almost feels like it's Kyrgios' year, it's all falling his way and when he takes to the court on Sunday, he'll be well rested since Wednesday.

He's playing really well, as I mentioned before, that serve is clicking. He will never have a better chance.

Fingers crossed he can pull out another big performance. He could well have a lot of the crowd on his side.

Easy for Djokovic in the end. Norrie never seemed to have the consistency after the first set. Almost tried too hard.

Hope he beats Kyrgios. Don't necessarily like Djokovic but can almost tolerate him more than Kyrgios. And he's definitely more talented.

Fair play to Norrie for taking that first set, more than I thought he'd be able to pull off, but ultimately comfortable for Djokovic.

You'd expect Djokovic to get the win on Sunday but Kyrgios is one of those players who despite being ranked 40th in the world is probably in the top ten that you'd back to potentially pull off the win against an all time great in his first Grand Slam final.

Djokovic a clear favourite though.

Kyrgios shouting at his box after he just blew a 40-0 lead to get broken at the worst possible time in the third set.

I'm really trying to just enjoy the match for what it is and not worry about how much of a prick he is but he reminds you how much of a prick he is constantly.

You're in the Wimbledon final. At least pretend to be a role model for one day? Instead of yelling foul mouthed abuse in front of a stadium of people while you blame others for your own mistakes.

Haven't watch much of Wimbledon or tennis as a whole, but is Krygios always a whinging fucker?

Yes. He even moans at ballboys for "running wrong" when he runs out of people to blame.

Well congratulations to Djokovic. I've seen a lot of tweets to the effect of the Wimbledon final having a lot in common with the start of the Tory leadership contest in that you just wish all of them would lose and fuck off and I have to say I feel it.

Djokovic was very special today, and after breaking Kyrgios in that second set somehow ground out the rest of the match.

Don't think he will win much going forward due to the strictness of the vaccination status though maybe another Wimbledon.

As for Kyrgios absolutely emotional nutcase and actually reminds me of a younger McEnroe who also swore and broke his racket in a tantrum at times.

Odd tournament this year.

Turns out Norrie was a Kiwi until he got better funding to be a Brit.

The winner of the women's title was born in Moscow. And 6th consecutive different winner.

As others describe, the men's final was dire, if you like to pick a favourite to cheer for. I'm not sure either especially want to be liked too much.

Hopefully the men's will go like the women's soon. I have been a bit bored of the big 3 thing for a while now.
