Tottenham v Inter - Saturday 4th August.

West Ham are linked with a glamour friendly with PSG but in true West Ham style, they’ll not get that and be linked with friendlies with Bordeaux, Monaco and Lyon, before settling for a friendly with Nantes.

Sunderland are off to Portugal.

Bit of an array there! Tempted by the Rovers game on the 21st (could do without it being a Sunday mind), and of course the Derby match puts Gerrard up against Lampard.

Scunthorpe and Cambridge added to our pre-season travels.

16th July - Scunthorpe

23rd July - Cambridge.

Might head to Cambridge as only about 45mins away.

Utterly infuriating. Went to Cambridge this season just gone to tick it off. I knew this would happen.

Far better pre-season schedule for me this. Don't care how old fashioned I sound I'd far sooner play local-ish games than in these tournaments thousands of miles away. Chuck in a testing home fixture (again, don't care for the elite, happily have a Lyon or a Hoffenheim) and maybe an away one in Europe like France, Holland or Belgium and we're sorted.

Leuven away is rumoured. I'd go to that.

QPR are playing Watford in a friendly on 27th July. I remember going to the same friendly probably sixteen-seventeen years ago and getting Jimmy Davis’ autograph. He was on loan at Watford from Manchester United. About six days later, he died in a car crash. That’s my only memory of that game.

Roma have a 'International Champions Cup' friendly on July 24th in America.

Because they finished 6th in Serie A, their first Europa League game is on July 25th.

Probably shouldn't have started selling tickets for it before you actually finish the current season...

Think that could have happened with Man Utd as well if Watford won the FA Cup.

Could've told them this three weeks ago... Instead they continued selling tickets...

Leicester vs Atalanta. Date to be confirmed.

Should be a good test for us. They've just come off the back of a great season in Serie A and will be preparing for a European adventure next season too. Looking forward to it.
