Newcastle 2-3 Liverpool - Saturday 4th May, 2019

Muto on for Schär.

For all the talk of Newcastle rolling over, they've approached this game with much more desperation to win than I've ever seen them.

Extremely un-Rafa to abandon shape to cram more attackers on.

Has the goal gone to origi? Live score say lascelles own goal?

I believe it has been gifted as an own goal, although it is hard to tell who got the last touch so not sure if it is accurate. All opinion.

Nope, can't see it happening. Probably dodgy decision in Man City's favour but they'll be too good for us anyway.

Wow.

Couldn't be more proud of these players. Honestly, can't remember the last time I had this amount of pride for this team. Amazing effort so far. We just have to hope that Leicester play with the same intensity Newcastle just did.

Hoping Salah is alright and makes a speedy recovery for Tuesday but it's very unlikely.

Also, Origi should be starting over Sturridge every time.

Hope Salah’s alright.

Brilliant ball from Shaqiri to Origi to win it for us. God I hope Leicester win on Monday

Van Dijk told him to take the free kick, when it was Trent going to do it. Van Dijk wanted an in swinger. What a signing he has been that magnificent Dutch bastard.

Liverpool fans were moaning that Messi 'fouled' Fabinho on Wednesday night.

Yet Fabinho gets a free-kick for this just before the 3rd goal tonight. Hmm.

Where is the foul? Looks to me like Fabinho just jumps in the air...

When Salah went off I thought it was pretty much done. Said to my mate, only way we're scoring is a set piece, thankfully we got it.

This side, after all they've done this season deserved to take it to the last day. It would have been absolutely gutting not to have won today. They just keep on getting over the most difficult of hurdles.

Tuesday without Firmino and Salah will be almost impossible but hopefully one of them is ok for Sunday

Pulling him and has to go down to get the foul. Done.

xD if you say so.

He needs to man the fuck up then if he has to go down for a pull, which I don't even see anyway. Ridiculous. He's literally felt a tiny bit of contact on his back and suddenly it's as if that sniper from the stands is back and has taken out Fabinho's feet.

Take those red-tinted glasses off mate.
