I never really knew much about him other than he was a friend of our keeper Jens in the late 80's and I seem to remember he scored in the Pokal final but I have no record of him getting a winners medal. Neuerman was our coach at that time but it's all slightly misty! He was younger than me and I seem to remember seeing him when I visited Essen to stay with Thea for the Pokal last year so maybe that's where he was living.
