In with a really good chance of winning this I think... Everyone in bold has played 10+ games in a top-5 European league. Others have played 25+ Championship games. Some players there have played for top 6 sides (in UK) or played in European competition, too, which is great (aware some have been called up for England Nations League squad though). Then took control of the game and came away with an impressive 3-1 victory. Chiesa was sensational. Fiorentina have got to keep hold of him. Speaking from an individual class stand point this has to be the worst U21 squad Germany has had in the last 20 year or so, except for that tournament in Isreal a couple of years ago maybe when our A team was playing test games for Löw and our B team was mainly injured. Hopefully this won't come back to bite them in the arse if goal difference decides the outcome of this group... Schlager alone could (should?) have scored at least twice.
