That was first half, no?

Yea, Stuggart lodged a complaint that the bandage time was only added for 1 player and not both so they have added the remainder on in this half...

First time ever in the Bundesliga. Huge achievement for them!

Love the pitch invasion, too. Absolute scenes.

I just remembered that this is the first time after 7 years that the lower division team won the relegation playoff for the Bundesliga. Makes it even more special!

Union were clearly more tense with the tie technically swung in their favour, but they still did tremendously to limit Stuttgart and create some brilliant chances.

Unbelievable performance, considering the relative individual quality of the sides. With all due respect to Union.

It was always Stuttgart that had to push for something but in the end they came up short and lacked ideas.. I felt they got a bit disheartened with their opener being wiped off and they lost that early opening energy after that... it all became a bit of a battle

Well, that was unexpected. Granted I know little about Union Berlin, but getting buy a team full of World Cup winners, Bundesliga Champions and Super Mario, is quite something.  Their record this season suggests defence is their strong suit, so maybe they pull a Huddersfield and stay up for a year or two?  Anyhow, good for them, Berlin really should have more football clubs in the top tier.

And Ingolstadt are down! Wiesbaden have made it. Congrats!

A little underwhelming after yesterday if I'm honest.

I have mixed feelings about it, to be honest.

Normally I would be happy about Ingolstadt going down but for us it's not good news at all.

Why is it not good news?

I thought Ingolstadt was hated?

For Duisburg it's bad news because Ingolstadt is another team with much more money than us. Certainly favourites to win the league.

Unfortunately, we're almost forced to go straight back up.

Are they still that packed money-wise? I thought VW had reduced their financial support drastically after that Dieselgate disaster?

Their transfers and their squad suggest that they still have lots of money. I'm no expert on Ingolstadt though.
