Kerr then gets a soft penalty in my opinion - didn’t look confident but slotted home the rebound. We’ve been a bit wasteful in possession and this playing it around the back has me nervous as Italy are pressing very high and the centre of the park for us is basically nowhere. It’s severely disrupted progress this side has made. We are meant to be 6th in the world. But Milicic’s tactics are questionable and we haven’t looked like the Matildas since he took over. Before all that drama I’d have put money on us making semi finals for sure. Now, it’s not looking too likely we will get out of the group unless we defeat Brazil and Jamaica.
