Messi still has plenty left yet, Griezmann is in his prime, Suarez looks more sharper in this pre-season than last season where he was carrying an injury, Dembele has as much chance(if not more) than Neymar of staying fit and is younger with high potential, Carles Perez can fill in.. Remember he will already be 30 by the time the next World Cup comes along. He is in his prime and has thrown away stability on his original choice by selecting a ridiculous “project” that was always extremely risky. All this without delving into how his character and actions have also scarred his career to date. I have no idea what the future holds for him wherever he now ends up but I do know that to repair the damage it’s going to take a hell of a lot than just a number of great performances. He did, the biggest mistake of his career is to get out of Barcelona and even worst was him landing in that barbie doll club called PSG. The club have already removed all existence of Neymar from the club shop in Paris and he has been told by PSG that he needn't show-up to training or any club events until this is ended. There are representatives from Barcelona in Paris this morning and the negotiations with Real Madrid are at present blocked due to the French club wanting Isco in any deal while Real offer Bale who they apparently don't want. Looks like PSG will have success in creating a bidding war for Neymar in order to drive his price up. My feeling is that Neymar will end up at Real Madrid. Pre-season results are rarely important but I feel like that defeat to Atlético really changed Real Madrid´s power dynamics. Florentino was going to let Zidane dictate the transfer market, but that defeat probably changed the power structure. Now, Florentino feels like he has to intervene and he´s always wanted to bring Neymar to Real. I feel like Real Madrid can deal more easily with PSG, the relationship between the clubs is better, and also Real still have more funds and more players who would interest PSG.
