A lot of Neymar hate from the PSG fans tonight. Songs and banners. Looks like he's played his last game for them.

Was just watching the videos now. Unbelievable scenes! Can’t blame the fans though as they’re going through EXACTLY the same as what Neymar did to Barcelona fans.

Talks between Barcelona and Paris St-Germain over the transfer of Brazil forward Neymar have stalled with the French club asking for three players in addition to a fee for the 27-year-old. (Sport)

I highly doubt Barcelona want anything to do with that kind of deal unless the Catalan club get to clear off some players from the salary roster and free up space for other potential signings?

I'm triggered by the fact PSG fans sang chants in spanish against Neymar.

Why does everyone think we speak spanish?! 😠 😂

fuck him off. There is already enough attacking options there. Messi still has plenty left yet, Griezmann is in his prime, Suarez looks more sharper in this pre-season than last season where he was carrying an injury, Dembele has as much chance(if not more) than Neymar of staying fit and is younger with high potential, Carles Perez can fill in..

There is no need for the Brazilian at all.

Not the same but for a Spaniard that’s not from Andalucia it really grates on you. But wheh I was a kid my friends at school kept on asking me when I was going to bring in my castanets and if everyone in Spain carried them when they went out! >:(xD

When I’d tell them that my region was Celtic and that our national musical instrument was the bagpipes they didn’t believe it. Even to this day that sort of mindset exists.

When he retires he will only be remembered as another Robinho. Dont even get the hype around him at all.

In many people’s opinion that are respected in the football journalism world, they feel he’s now wasted over half of his career. Remember he will already be 30 by the time the next World Cup comes along. He is in his prime and has thrown away stability on his original choice by selecting a ridiculous “project” that was always extremely risky. All this without delving into how his character and actions have also scarred his career to date.

I have no idea what the future holds for him wherever he now ends up but I do know that to repair the damage it’s going to take a hell of a lot than just a number of great performances.

He did, the biggest mistake of his career is to get out of Barcelona and even worst was him landing in that barbie doll club called PSG. Add to that, the agent drama, his own attitude and everything is a PR disaster.

He's a far superior player than Robinho and has achieved a hell of a lot more. He's still young and if he gets the next move right he can become a legend.

He achieved a lot more than Robinho only because he played beside Messi while Robinho didnt. That "legend" bus has left the stop long ago, with the attitude he has he wont be achieving much. The only route I see him becoming one of the greatest is if he wins the WC with Brasil.

The "legal representatives" spotted at the Barcelona headquarters yesterday is a lawyer from Valencia, Juan de Dios Crespo. He is one of the most renowned specialists in sports law in the world and is used by sports stars from America all the way to Australia and Japan. This lawyer was used by Paris Saint-Germain when Neymar moved to them from Barcelona... He handled all the legal sides of the transfer move.

We now know why he was at the club yesterday and it wasn't because of Neymar. One of Barcelona's sporting directors, the Italian Ariedo Braida stepping down and Juan de Dios Crespo was being used for the relative contractucal stuff.

News coming in from France states that the Neymar saga is to be resolved very soon due to PSG being destabilised by the whole situation.   The club have already removed all existence of Neymar from the club shop in Paris and he has been told by PSG that he needn't show-up to training or any club events until this is ended. There are representatives from Barcelona in Paris this morning and the negotiations with Real Madrid are at present blocked due to the French club wanting Isco in any deal while Real offer Bale who they apparently don't want.

If Barcelona take him back I'll be shocked. Even if he is warranted a spot in that lineup I dread to think what his potential team-mates would be thinking now. Its also suspect about whether he'll actually deliver for them too.

It's actually them who are all crying for him to return, especially Messi.

I feel for Dembele as it's only been injuries that have set him back(yet Neymar is equally as injury prone these days!) and this could have been the season. A lot of young players suffer from constant niggling injuries before getting over them and pushing on with their career and I believe that is likely the case here.

With Messi, Suarez, Dembele, the new addition of Griezmann and Carles Perez, who has shown his ability this pre-season, I see no need or use for Neymar. I would infact say that Barcelona need to sell a few players but not necessarily buy anyone right now.

The squad is sound, it's all about the coach getting it right tactically, as opposed to horribly wrong like last year and the year before in the Champions league.

I think he's burnt his bridges everywhere except Barcelona, which surprises me cos of his exit from there in the first place.

I think its the best destination for him. Sure he's a liability and all but if someone gets him to focus, he's outrageously good and I find it stupid that some people think he's not that good outright.

If you're sitting in Neymar's position right now and watching all this unfold you're probably asking yourself "what about me?". Its a bit shocking that the club even want to entertain all this considering it effectively boils down to a player saying that he wanted to leave and did so on not so good terms and now that he has realized his dreams aren't being fulfilled everyone has to bend over backwards to get him? I don't care if they guy scores 100 goals in a season (not like he will but still) its the club taking a step down. Even if the existing players want him back which baffles me even more I hope they realize that its not his skill that is under question its his ability to be a professional that is.

Exactly. If you shit on a club, they should never have you back as Barcelona are much bigger than Neymar is in the end.

only the adequate replacement of messi should be worth that much money to Barcelona. Dont expect them to find a perfect match but surely its going to be one that continues the legacy of messi as a Barcelona leader who would never quit the team and would be more focused on outplaying the opposition...instead of trying to fool a ref with dives and exaggeration..

27 years old

Spends more time injured than fit and it's a bigger liability than Derrick Rose or.Gareth Bale xD

Wage demand is near 38 million euros annually. A lot of money but that's pocket change compare to what the total cost will be payed by Barcelona ... total cost meaning since the beginning when Barcelona cowardly ignored the deal RM had first.

The socios are supposedly fed up with Barto and you have high members of the administration quitting the club all because they wont play a role in barto bending over the cule fans once again. If a new president is elected,  he will be expected to make the post messi and regaining the trust of the socios as smooth as he can without a dip on their winning ways.... a near 30yo made out of glass and has already quit the team before makes more sense then Mbappe regardless of how you sliced it right.

Even though I agree with you this time in general. This is hypocritical as fuck from you as it wasn't so long ago when you said that Neymar was a better player than Messi, how Barcelona losing him was a disaster and how he'd be a great signing for Real Madrid xD

Easily the funniest member on this forum.

PSG listened to Barça´s offer for Neymar, but they will take that offer to Madrid to see if the Merengues can beat it.

Looks like PSG will have success in creating a bidding war for Neymar in order to drive his price up.

My feeling is that Neymar will end up at Real Madrid. Pre-season results are rarely important but I feel like that defeat to Atlético really changed Real Madrid´s power dynamics. Florentino was going to let Zidane dictate the transfer market, but that defeat probably changed the power structure. Now, Florentino feels like he has to intervene and he´s always wanted to bring Neymar to Real.

I feel like Real Madrid can deal more easily with PSG, the relationship between the clubs is better, and also Real still have more funds and more players who would interest PSG.

I just dont get why anyone would want that utter prick anywhere near their club?

Surely it would be the funniest thing if nobody gave him the slightest bit of attention and his career just fizzled out to nothing.

Hes not even that good tbh.
