How should a cup of tea look?

This is without doubt the most British topic you'll ever find on an internet forum. I've seen the debate thrown around social media a million times so it's time to settle things once and for all in here - how should the perfect brew look to you? Decide from the options down below;

Personally, the more milky the better. Top right is a winner for me with the bottom left being a total abomination to society.

the other debate is how you make it. for me, only ONE way.

Teabag in the cup.
Hot water in.
Let it brew for a bit.
Teabag out.
Bit of milk in.
Sugar (optional obvs) in.

Stir.

Drink.

Done.

Flick on the kettle.

Add boiling water.

Stir teabag.

Unload half a gallon of milk.

Stir.

Start drinking.

the order of these 2 doesn't matter xD

Milk in tea? Fuck off. Weird Brits.

Hehe, it's extremely weird for me too, although I enjoy Masala chai every once in a while... I don't like tea that much anyway.

Now you should open a thread "How should English breakfast look", I've seen a lot of heated arguments over it xD

so you just have black tea? or use a substitute?

Black tea, green tea, herbal tea. Either with sugar or no sugar. Absolutely NO milk or any substitute of it xD

The only way to make your tea

Kettle on

While the water is heating, take an exact teaspoon of your pretentious chinese gunpowder green tea, and put it in a tea strainer.

Take the water off the boil before it hits 90 degrees.

Add water. Stir and brew til colour is perfect. Remove strainer.

:P

Yea, I drink Earl Grey without anything in it. If it's that usual black tea, sometimes people ad a little sugar. But never milk! I like Green Tea as well.

No, same goes for black tea as well. It's just that we drink all kinds of teas without milk xD

I'd be interested to know if any other countries/areas of the world have tea predominantly without milk! Thought it was a staple thing to have it with milk xD

Britain and South Asia countries drink it predominantly with milk, the rest of the world without.
