Liverpool should have had a penalty. However it was the right decision with the var set up not to override it. This is the bit of VAR I think needs to improve. Last year the referee probably would give it but this year they are being more lenient I think because they think var will correct it for them. Same for every team though I suppose so it evens out. Didn't matter in the end because Liverpool scored a minute later

VAR is supposed to make sure the right decision. What is the point if they are scared of overrulling the ref?  That being said, I don't want to debate about VAR haha. 

That being said, Mane makes it a second. What the goalkeeper is doing, I don't know 😂

I can see the argument for only overruling grievous errors. It would be outrageous if 51-49 decisions were leading to penalties territorially being awarded after play had carried on...

A bit like the cricket umpires call approach.
