The Red Bulls of Soccer

Recommended Posts

I am not totally sure how it works, but I think it is a kind of pyramid scheme with Leipzig on the top and the rest feeding them?  So, I guess it means that Haaland will be joining Red Bull Leipzig in January or maybe earlier if they can somehow convince UEFA that they are all part of the same organization.  I assume if Red Bull New York, Ghana or Brazil have a new starlet, they can come up at anytime.  I also assume the new American coaching Casino Red Bull Vodka mixer Salzburg was previously at Red Bull New York. I get the feeling he drinks a lot of Red Bull and Vodka.  What I dont get is if Red Bull is an Austrian company, why isnt Salzburg the main team?

I'm guessing they think Leipzig is a bigger team with more marketable opportunity, given that it plays in a more popular league as well.

I hope Haaland gets snapped up by a better club than Leipzig though whenever he leaves Salzburg.

I'd expect that's he last thing they'd want to do considering that they spent a lot of time previously trying to prove the contrary so that both clubs would be allowed to take part in the Champions League...

That said it never stopped them from signing and moving players through Salzburg to Leipzig anyway so if they want Haaland they'll definitely get him.
