Bild has reported that Haaland has a £17 million release clause in his contract, that will allow him to leave Salzburg for that amount in January. Dortmund are said to be the favorites to sign him at this stage, although Manchester United, RB Leipzig and a host of other clubs are also said to be interested in the Norwegian wonderkid.

I’m sure he’ll want more than 17million (translates to his agent will want more) or is that the ask to actually start negotiating

It's a release clause though - so regardless of whatever percentage he and his agent would get, they wouldn't have a say really - if a club meets the clause Red Bull have to sell.

At 17mil that's a snip. Now that hes going maybe we should ask them if Minamino is free and race everyone to his acquisition.

Exactly, all the other clubs need to do is meet the 17 million pound release clause and have Haaland agree to join them and he's their player. Whoever buys him for that transfer fee amount, will be buying the bargain of the year. Haaland has already proved how dangerous he is as  a striker. I personally think that his most likely destination is probably RB Leipzig, who are sometimes known as RB Salzburg's mother club.

I'd absolutely love us to sign Minamino… assuming he can regularly perform like he did against us regularly in our league.

Yeah... it's an unreal bargain if anyone gets him at that price. RB Leipzig will most certainly be in for him, I imagine, considering the relationship those two clubs have. I guess the risk for Leipzig here is, if that clause is met... the decision is entirely in Haaland's hands.

Had a dream that he missed Wednesday's game so it made it easier for Liverpool to qualify and in doing so, UEFA told him that he has to move to a club in Scotland wtf is all that about xD
