1) I do like walking on the long stretch of the concrete pavement that borders the Worli Seaface. It's long, clean and there are decent food spots on the other side (spicy bhajis and vada pavs). If it's raining heavily and there's a high tide, then it's quite a sight. Also, further south to Girgaon beach where there is this brilliant famous kulfi store.

Though my most favourite would be Kanheri Caves in National Park. And you go there walking. It roughly takes couple of hours from the National Park's gates to the caves, but in the cold rainy season you won't find it tiring. I often go there with a bunch of friends. During rainy seasons you will run into small natural waterfalls or streams on the way where you can have a splash. Once you reach the Kanheri caves, climb a little further and visit the small monastery to restock on water. They don't have a filter but the water they give for free is cold and clean.

2) In no particular order Roxanne Blaze, Allie Haze, Leah Gotti and Selen. Cuties and great at their jobs, plus some of their movies are brilliant :especially Blaze's and Selen's.

3)Imperialism of the powerful countries like US, Russia and China. The way they engineer regime changes, or in China's case saddle countries with debt before taking over strategic points. I know some of the countries they target are home to terrible dictators or corrupt goverments, but it's for the people there to make the change on their own. Besides we know the regime changes don't really help the local population and unleash deaths and displacements of millions. Which is why candidates like Gabbard are so important, but the way she is being targeted by MSM and politicians tells you everything that's wrong with the world.

4) I love tennis. Especially Woman's tennis. Take away Serena and the competition is more diverse.

Recently I have got into badminton because of our brilliant girls Nehwal and Sindhu.

I used to watch F1 religiously as a kid, until Ferrari's dominance ruined it for me. I was a Hakkinen and then Montoya fan.

Beyond that I have played kho-kho and kabbadi as a kid, but don't really like watching them.

5) Best thing about football is the access to the sport we have, especially for people like us who don't really live in Europe.

Worst would be the oscillating fortunes of our national side.

As Harry said, What is an ignis excubitor?    (Edit: You replied to this when I was typing)

Now just the normal nosy questions...

  1. Are you married, if so, how many kids do you have?
  2. Besides Liverpool, what other team do you like?
  3. What made you support Liverpool?
  4. How old are you?

1) Yes, married. Don't yet have any kids. Would love to. A daughter would be nice. But wife wants to wait couple of years, because she is currently doing her PhD.

2) Mumbai City FC.

Out of India when it comes to football, none. I do wish good for clubs that are being managed by former Reds, like when Benitez was managing Newcastle or Gerrard with Rangers.

When it comes to non football teams, then the Mumbai Indians side in the IPL.

3) I started out as a Michael Owen fan while watching the World Cup. Was introduced to EPL by the satellite channels here. Was therefore natural for me to choose LFC.

4) I am 31.

What do you do for a living?

I am techincally educated as an engineer, but I switched to banking after spending few months at an entry level IT job. Currently I am overlooking the demat and trading department of my bank. My job is to get as many existing customers (and bring in new customers) to open demat and trading accounts in my bank.

If you had to recommend only one place to visit in India, what would it be?

I would say Matheran. It is not that well know outside my state. It's a hill station that's couple of hours away from my home, and therefore my go to destination on extended weekends. There are no cars allowed there (apart from one ambulance). You can walk from one point(cliffs) to the other, and those points are beautiful. The temperature is always cold, even in summers. But monsoon and winter seasons are the best times to be there. The only single issue is the arseholes wild monkeys that steal your stuff.

Most favourite Star Wars movie?

It was Empire strikes Back, until I watched Rogue One. Loved everything about it. And that climax scene with Vader always gives me chills.

What's your biggest passion?

I was involved with a NGO, teaching underprivileged kids on weekends. But I haven't been able to do that for the past couple of years due to work. I really enjoyed that and I hope to get back to it, once the pressure at work reduces. Seeing those kids progress is amazing.

Any unusual/uncommon/weird hobbies?

I don't think I have one. If I really have to say, then my mobile is filled with lots of minimalistic movie posters. I just love that kind of art.

What's your most controversial opinion?

We are heading towards large scale civil wars, because of people's inability to accept results they don't like. I see people getting more and more intolerant towards each other. I see people celebrating their kind of violence and it's increasing by the day. We are soon going to see massive riots and emergence of religion or ideology specific ghettos.

What subject do you know the most about?

Movies. I think I have watched too many of them and it's something I am proud of.

If all animals were the same size, which one would win in a fight?

Easy, the amazing Honey Badger.

If you could live anywhere else in the world, where would you pick to live?

Anywhere in New Zealand. I have always been fascinated by it. It's green and sparsely populated. And has so many beautiful places to see.

Favourite type of music?

Psychedelic rock or classical rock.

I do also enjoy a good fusion between rock and folk or classical music. Sneha Khanwalkar, an Indian composer, is amazing at that.

And I am a sucker for good, calm OST scores by the likes of Gustavo Santaolalla, Ennio Morricone, Mychael Danna, Nathan Johnson and Thomas Newman.

Do you like cheese? What's your favourite type of cheese if you do? And if you don't... why?

Yeah, I do love cheese. But I haven't had different kinds of cheese. It's either your basic cheese or mozzarella. One of my favourite food is cheese stuffed in chapatti, and eaten with nylon sev and tomato sauce. It's quick and easy to make.

Then there is also panner, which is cottage cheese, which goes good in most spicy currys.

Best type of alcohol?

I am not a big alcohol drinker. I tried them all, but never got attached to any. I do like a good wine with a meat dish, though.

Not sure your controversial opinion is that controversial. That's pretty typically what happens when nationalism goes on the ascendency and economic growth starts to tumble. Demagogues rise up with remarkably simple solutions to difficult problems, and people fall for it either due to naivete or apathy.

What is the bests thing about living in India, and what is the worst thing?

Best would be the food and being around my loved ones.

Worst would be the disdain most people have for basic civic sense.

Would you want to live anywhere else if you could?

As I said above, New Zealand.

Favourite Indian dish?

Moricha kalvan(curry) specifically cooked in Malvani style. Mori is a kind of shark, and don't worry it's available in abundance here.

When it comes to sea food, Malvani cuisine is amazing.

Do you like Bollywood movies?

I absolutely hate the generic commercial flicks. But in the Bollywood industry, there are some filmmakers that do make good movies by taking on different topics. People like Vikramaditya Motwane, Anurag Kashyap, Sriram Raghavan, etc. make interesting movies.

The regional cinema is braver and make better movies than Hindi Bollywood movies.

Ever been to Germany?

Nope, but would love to. Especially the Bavarian regions. Mostly to see girls in dirndl, which I think is quite a sexy outfit. I know they don't go around walking in that everday, but maybe during something like Oktoberfest.

What's your favourite place in your country that you've been to?

My village in the Malvan region. It's quiet and sparsely populated, has no pollution and the food is amazing. The beach is spotless with clean water and white sands.

Or as I said above, the hill station of Matheran.

If all TF365 members were the same size, which one would win in a fight?

@Devil-Dick WillieHe would even use his teeth to bite parts of his opponents.

Special mention to @MUFC. Imagine being tangled with him, and he suddenly starts sniffing or licking your feet. The opponent will quickly tap out.

Why do you think @Mel81x felt the need to tag you in on his questions in your own thread???

What is your solution to the curse of worldwide plastic pollution??

Lover or a fighter??

If a Lover what is your favorite position and if a Fighter what is your fighting style??

Do you get along with your parents or does your modern world, technology laden upbringing clash with their old style values??

A zombie apocalypse occurs overnight and @Stan @Stick With Azeem and @Mel81x are round for a sleepover, the zombies are coming up the stairs who do you shove down the stairs first to gain some extra time to escape down the drainpipe???

Name one thing you have a serious soft spot for in life??

Intriguing.

What is a colossus?

In the context of the game, the colossi are these giant beings made up of ground, grass, stones, armour and even fire. Each colossus has his strengths and weakness.

Your job is to kill all 16 of them, so you can use their dark energy(or souls) to bring your girl Mono back to life. It sounds simple, but the game is complex than that. You only have a sword, bow and arrows.

You have to search them first using the guiding light of your sword and then only strike them at their weak points. Getting to those weak points is also a puzzle in itself. Here are all of them.

And that white thing on the left is your horse. You are smaller than that.

If you are remotely into gaming and own a PlayStation then this is a highly recommended game. They came out with a remastered version for the latest console.

Have you tasted beef? Do you feel that the unavailability of beef is an issue in India?

Nope. For religious reasons I don't.

Beef is available in most of India and widely eaten in North Eastern and Southern states. It's cow slaughter that's banned in some states. You can slaughter the bull.

The problem is the politics around it - by both the sides. Also what outsiders don't get to hear is the smuggling angle, where cows and bulls are stolen from poor farmers at gunpoint. The deaths of those farmers don't get talked about by foreign media at all.

Also,  goes without saying deaths over beef (by so called cow protectors and also smugglers) are unacceptable.

If you had to estimate the breakdown of EPL support throughout India which club would you say had the highest amount of support?

Despite their recent slide into mediocrity, United probably still have the biggest fanbase. Followed by LFC, Arsenal and Chelsea.

The Barca and Madrid fanbases are definitely bigger than Arsenal's and Chelsea's.

Except I am not just blaming the populists only, mate. If anything, I believe the left is more responsible for ruining the discourse with their absolute intolerance to the other side and obsession of throwing labels.

As for the riots, I firmly believe the loss of lives will be as big as WW levels. It will be a form of cleansing of the society. People will return to moderation after that. Hence, the controversial part.

Knowing him, then he was being polite. He is by far the nicest person I have met online.

What is your solution to the curse of worldwide plastic pollution??

A blanket ban, and switching to cloth or paper substitute. Of course you give people time to make the changes.

We have banned plastic here in my state several months ago, and the transition, though difficult initially, has been good. The results haven't been near perfect, but I do see people having completely switched to paper and cloth bags. There is less plastic waste. Though a hell lot still needs to be done.

Lover or a fighter??

Used to be fighter as a angsty teen. Now strictly a lover.

If a Lover what is your favorite position and if a Fighter what is your fighting style??

Amazonian (Google it with care).

Do you get along with your parents or does your modern world, technology laden upbringing clash with their old style values??

Yep, mum's always been laid back and cool. Dad, till he was alive, was also the quiet kind. I grew in a fairly liberal house with working parents so didn't have those issues.

A zombie apocalypse occurs overnight and @Stan @Stick With Azeem and @Mel81x are round for a sleepover, the zombies are coming up the stairs who do you shove down the stairs first to gain some extra time to escape down the drainpipe???

@StanHe is a Gujarati and Gujaratis are brilliant negotiators. He will find a way to keep them occupied for a longer time.

Name one thing you have a serious soft spot for in life??

Getting children educated. I don't think it makes them better human beings, but it definitely gives them more opportunities to carve out a better life for themselves.
