Albon is crashing way too often in free practice; this is somewhat worrying. He did enough laps on the intermediates to know the track was slippery; should have been more careful.

Anyway nothing to take from FP1. Hopefully the second one is more representative.

Yeah - odd that RB decided to do the slick tires though, as it appeared that most, if not all drivers that attempted them were spinning out. Kyvat and Max for sure.

Both Ferraris took slicks as well though; so did Hamilton (but mediums instead of the softs). It was obvious that the track was too slippery once they got out there but probably hard to change in the garage.

What happens for predictions regarding Charles. He has a penalty but what if you predict him for pole? How does tge system work?

From the site :)

In the event of drivers receiving penalties, it’s the grid on Sunday that decides the Fantasy GP points

Ferrari sandbagging? So far it looks it should be between Max and Lewis for the pole but I won't count the Ferraris out as they'll probably turn it up for the actual quali...

Fastest sectors:
S1
RB 17.558
Ferrari +0.109
Mercedes +0.183

S2
Mercedes 34.528
RB +0.199
Ferrari +0.432

S3
Ferrari 15.983
RB +0.039
Mercedes +0.067

Max on pole! B| And that's despite that pretty bad error on his first run. Mercedes surprisingly slow but their race pace is still superior; could be a very tasty Max vs Lewis battle tomorrow.

Kimi finally in the top 10 as well.

I think Merc will manage the tyres better again, and that’s where it will be won or lost.

True and Mercedes are better on the long-runs in generak but then Red Bull (well Max at least) seem to do well in higher altitude and on short-lap circuits so that could be a very tight battle!

Or the top 3 just crash in the first corner and Bottas wins the race xD
