Dave
Kingsley Coman has told France coach Didier Deschamps that he will be fit for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The 21-year-old winger was having a superb season for Bayern Munich until suffering an ankle injury, for which he had surgery, in February. It had been feared Coman would be ruled out of Russia 2018, but the 15-times-capped international now hopes to return against Stuttgart in the final round of the Bundesliga on 12 May – three days before Deschamps has indicated he will name his squad for the tournament. "I'm getting better," Coman told SportBild. "Maybe I can play against Stuttgart on the final day. I'm sure I can play in the DFB-Pokal final (19 May).
