Dave
FA chairman Greg Clarke is standing as a FIFA vice-president, and will go head to head with his Northern Irish counterpart David Martin for the role. The position is being vacated by former Manchester United chief executive David Gill, with elections to take place in February. The move comes with the FA currently exploring a bid to host the 2030 World Cup, along with other British nations. Meanwhile, Aleksander Ceferin is standing unopposed for reelection as UEFA president. The Slovenian lawyer took up the rest of predecessor Michel Platini's four-year term in September 2016, after the former France international was banned for financial misconduct.
