Most Red Cards (Club) - Manchester United

Most Penalties Conceded (Club) - Fulham

Most Own Goals (Club) - Manchester United

This is my prediction based on the knowledge I have and the insights I have read on the https://sportscore platform.

  1. I didn't watch really with total attention, because I was studying at the same time, so I might be completely wrong.

Alvarez been pretty mild or dare I say really mid when playing the double offensive pivot. I know they want to give him minutes, the only ways seems to be playing with Haaland, and want him to do the part where Gundo entered the box late to be the second goal threat from the middle, but he doesn't give anything else Gundo gave playing there. Against Arsenal and in the pre-season, when the team was heavily tight marked, the team was lacking very much a second true midfielder, someone who could drop a little deep and break lines dribbling or passing and Alvarez, like it's logic, wasn't that player. I also think in the final third they been missing someone who could also create and Julian just been too safe.

  2. Alex Telles from my club might sign with United this offseason. He's a decent left back but don't think you will sign some Alex Sandro type player. Telles is limited in many aspects, he can't win a 1-on-1, he's kinda dumb deciding and that's why he crosses from every spot of the pitch a lot of times just because he has someone in front of him blocking passage. His numbers are really inflated as almost every goal he scored was from penalty and most assists were from set pieces as Porto almost only scores through set pieces. I think it's a good player for 20-25M, any more than that it's kinda too much for a player with clear problems.

  3. I'm going to be honest. La Liga, the organization, makes me cringe hard everytime a star wants to quit Spain. They stop being neutral and do whatever they can so the process dies. This was the same thing they did to Neymar, trying to get things to court because they wanted to cancell the whole transfer, using the FFP as an argument. They are the league, they ain't Barcelona.

It's funny that they are acting like they have more power than FIFA and they are the courts. In this situations FIFA gives all the freedom to players knowing that one day they might have to pay back if court thinks so. So why tf is La Liga acting like they are the voice of reason when they ain't? I hope they get raw dogged in this, I really hope.

We would've had a better chance of getting in the top 4 this season if Wenger was here in my opinion. He was more competitive in the league with worse squads and he wouldn't have alienated players in order to push them out like Emery did with Ramsey and Ozil. And to be honest Arteta is doing the same with Ozil. Lacking in creativity and the guy can't even get in the squad... Wenger needed to go at the time but Emery was not a good appointment.

Still happy with Arteta overall though, optimistic about him getting a full season (although the circumstances will mean a lack of a proper preseason).

It's normal, Ozil has no work rate even more since some years ago. And with Arteta's style, assuming because he was with Pep and from what I have seen so far, the team needs players that don't slack defensively so the press can work. This doesn't succeed with players like Ozil.

In relation to Emery, I know he didn't have the best team at Arsenal and that english fans usually defend him a lot (seeing from Reddit), but I (and a lot of portuguese people) think he's a hoax (don't know if the word is correct just saw the translation in google translator). Dude apart from Valencia never did quite good in the league nor he showed tactical glimpses of being a top tier manager. He won 2 or 3 Europa Leagues, but his tactics were never that ambitious to begin with and that showed in the league table across his time at Sevilla. Once they got rid of him and got Sampaoli they did a lot better internally. I remeber him playing against Porto and Benfica and thinking his team wasnt that good, but he was safe and that goes a long way in tournments when you have good players. Then PSG came, he did what everyone couldn't, lose the league with that squad, and then he did go to Arsenal and I think he could do better at some times but would never be the type of manager Arsenal should go for.

  5. Wenger was kinda dated and was heading to this road. After that Arsenal just didn't know how to choose a manager properly, and I would guess various managers don't want the problem of working with constraint finances in a club like this.

No matter how worse things may have gotten I'm apologist of not being locked in something that isn't working and trying to get better.

  6. Here in Portugal Danilo Pereira is being noticed to Arsenal. To be honest, I don't think this is it nor do I believe the rumour knowing Arteta's school. Last time Danilo played any good without being consistently forgettable was in 2015/16 (first season at Porto where he was the only one looking good) , being even associated with PSG, after that he was just exposed big time for lacking on ball skill and not being that good as he once promised defensively. He literally can't play an 1 meter vertical pass, almost every time he only knows/can pass again to the CBs and stall the build-up play. I really don't understand, if this is true, what Arsenal is seeing, maybe they are still caught on that rare good game he had against England some years ago.

Yan beat Aldo to the surprise of no one
Holloway beat Volkonovski, to the opinion of everyone except the judges.
Usman put everyone to sleep except Masvidal.

I hate being "that guy", and I love all the facets of MMA. Boxing, Kickboxing, Wrestling and Jujitsu. I am a huge Khabib fan for example, but Usman did next to 0 work. Wrestled his way into good positions and stood there stamping on Geroges toes for 20 minutes.

It's his fight, he didn't do much but he didn't let Jorge do much too.

I'm in the same boat, the fight was great as his personality. I'm shocked no one talks how Usman looked completely subpar when trading blows. He really looked tagged/wobbly everytime Game Bread threw an 1-2. And I think Jorge was trying to kick too much against a dude that was prepared to get that leg everytime he tried a kick.

Wonderboy would give Marty trouble, imo.

Personally, I'm not sure I'd say Guerrero is world class myself. He can play for a club like Dortmund or Atletico Madrid for sure, but his finishing is a bit off for him to earn that tag.

What I do believe, is he's top 5 forwards in South America. Cavani, Suarez, Aguero and Firmino are better. Can't think of others. Falcao, Vargas, Jesus, Rondon, Zapata and Icardi aren't better.

The difference from South America to Europe is crazily big. And when he was in Europe, in his prime, he was a good player, nothing exceptional. Might be my bias, but I can't agree at all on saying someone who was never great at the top is now world class at 36 playing in tired countries. The same way Jorge Jesus, although a great coach in Portugal, was never one of the best in the world nor he is now just because he won it all with Fla.

I think Jonas, when playing with Benfica, was a lot more "world class" than Paolo ever was, but then again it was in Portugal and he didnt quite do half of that in a lot better leagues. There are levels to it.
