    It was their 2nd string in a meaningless game. No point risking injuries with Real Madrid coming up. Definitely a gift to Mainz who are fighting to stay in the Bundesliga and a blow to Köln.

    Of course Union needs to lose and Köln needs to win by a large margin next Saturday's for Köln to even have a slim chance of staying in the first division.
