Smiley Culture
Gillingham and Oldham Athletic have parted with Ady Pennock and John Sheridan. With a full round of EFL fixtures tonight I'm sure others may be out of a job come the weekend.

Dave
Would have been surprised if Steve Evans fancied swapping a promotion battle for a relegation battle in a higher division. He's all about reputation.

He'll be shit I just know it I hope he isn't. He's going for a job with a club close to his heart and is willing to manage at a respectable level instead of doing punditry work expecting to one day be offered a top job based on reputatuon. Alan Shearer and Ryan Giggs take note. A fantastic player who you appreciate more since his retirement. Speaks well and seems level headed. Id rather Richie Wellens get the job based on their recent improvements but I wouldn't begrudge them if they go down this route.
Smiley Culture
Apparently he has no interest in the job, it was in an advisory capacity only.

If that's the case then given Richie Wellens now has four wins in four games there's really no advice he needs to offer.
