Dave Posted June 28, 2018 Share Posted June 28, 2018 Well that was more like it from Brazil. A very good team performance led by Coutinho. It looks like they're ready to change the gears now and progress pretty far in the tournament. Given the height and size difference, this was possibly there biggest challenge and they last with flying colours. Even though most of us had predicted them to finish bottom, I'm surprised by how Costa Rica didn't really compete. There side is not that different to the one that beat Italy and Uruguay a year ago. Switzerland/Sweden in the next round is an odd one. I can't see either progressing beyond quarters but they both must be delighted to have a real opportunity of progression. Too many attacks were slowed down if it wasn't initiated by Coutinho and they were sitting on the edge in the second half before their second goal.
