  3. Given how politics is over there, it's more likely to be real than not
  4. Apparently the baby had a head injury so the other kids were taken away for their safety. Police were clearly outnumbered based on the videos. They have to think of their own safety as well so if they have to retreat temporarily so be it, until other resources can arrive. It's ironic the rioters have turned behaved like that when social services were just doing their job. Guess it's mob mentality though. Ironically if social services just walked away and anything else happened to the children, social services would be slaughtered either way and asked 'why didn't you do anything?!'

  6. All kicking off in Harehills, in West Yorkshire. Standard gammon behaviour as a result.
  7. After he seemingly didn't get on with Rodgers before leaving us, I'm surprised he's chosen to link up again with him
  8. Milan have just signed Morata as well and they still have Luka Jovic in their squad. Not sure they even need him, even with this cheap deal.

Yep, baby unnamed We named him Kiaan. Fun fact (debatable) coming up. Midwife we had was called 'Chioma'. We decided on the name of Kiaan a few days later. Anyway, about a week later we were back in the hospital. Bumped into Chioma again. She asked what the baby's name was. Said it was Kiaan, and she asked what it meant - said it was 'grace' or 'grace of God'. Weirdly, her name also means 'grace' in her language too .
  11. No wonder Trump chose him. Sounds like a dangerous human being, let alone politician.
  12. Probably, but I'm not complaining. Heavily invest my time into sport away from work/baby life. It's a welcome distraction.
  13. Sounds like he's chosen Roma as he wants to stay he Italy/Serie A. Shame as it would have made this summer window a very positive one so far.
  14. Brazil as they were the team to watch when growing up. Lots of flair and success - Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Carlos, Cafu, Juninho. Then the likes of Kaka & Adriano (thanks to PES as well) in 2006 to add. There was so much to like.
  15. It's a 'sorry I got caught' one.
  16. Nah fair points for the final. But if we're talking whole tournament I think Pickford has to be in contention. Despite the above he made a couple of good stops as well in the final too. I had him in to begin with then remembered how impressed I was with Mamardashvili. Perhaps a more sentimental pick. Unai Simon also was in temporarily.
  17. Basically, to paraphrase where I stand. - Walker is good, but he didn't have the best of tournaments. I implied a new manager may see fit to try someone else there. - Despite his age, he may still perform, but there may be better options by the time WC2026 comes around. Without knowing who the manager is neither you or I can say for certain that he'll still be picked or not. - I don't think he had that good a tournament as you think he did, even though UEFA chose to include him in their team of the tournament. It's okay to disagree with them or for you and I to disagree. I notice you go ultra-defensive whenever someone has a different viewpoint to you. - As for the next Euros, who knows. 4 years to go is a long time.
  18. Read these two posts @Michael. Tell me who mentions age first.
