There's no chance of him playing there at the moment. Not unless there's injuries/suspensions. I'd bet Poch would get the most out of him though and maybe he could work his way into the starting line up. It's a risk for him though.

Makes a difference when you're saying he's leaving for free next season. We're past the point of resigning, it's about getting the most money we can. Not gonna happen. He'll leave this summer whether that be to Chelsea or elsewhere.

His role is different under Koeman than Martinez. The latter allowed individual freedom where he could basically do whatever he wanted and that shit won't happen under Koeman. It's a much more disciplined and organised system. It's all about the team rather than individual stats and goals. He's been much better this season than last one. His best year for us I'd say.

Would love to know the reasons behind him not signing. We'll try and make it out as if Barkley is in the wrong (and he is sort of for not giving a definitive answer as of yet) but it could be anything for not signing. Not sure I'm liking this constant ultimatum talk from Koeman either. Once or twice is enough but it's every time he's in front of a camera now. I know he's only answering questions put towards him but it's getting too much now. Talk privately and try and sort it out. He's putting a lot of pressure on it.

Don't watch any of Malaga so can't comment but at £5 million can't grumble.

Saves us going out and spending upwards of £10 million on a replacement. He's decent enough as a squad player and done well in Europe last time we were there.

I was looking forward to seeing a few of them cos whenever I've seen this group play they've looked good but the way Koeman spoke about them to other week sounds like he isn't confident enough of them will make the step up.

A pity most of these won't get a look in.
