Is it a problem though? Stats tell a different story. For one, with Pogba, you lot faced bottom half clubs, so it would obviously make sense there would be loads of chances created. And with Pogba injured, you lot came up against Liverpool, Spurs, and us, to which Mourinho set up his side conservatively.
Asides from bottom half clubs, there's 0 flair in midfield currently, Herrera doesn't go past players, only Matic tries to and he's not even that kind of player, Pogba brings a lot to utd and it's clearly obvious now, he brings calmness, composure, long passes and shots at oppositions goal, he is their main man in the team and without him has been very obvious, just like how Kante is for Chelsea

But but they can go on to win it you know?

Young would play better at RB than LB, he is being wasted playing LB, I think he has one of the most accurate pull out in England

I've got a bad feeling about it all if I'm honest (although I think I've turned quite negative ) that he's a good player but not necessarily the right fit. I could be wrong but that's my fear for this signing.
I'd guess after the past two games that Okazaki will start as we were noticeably better with him on the pitch both times. I think we take what he gives us for granted, it's easy to do when you see him lose balance thirty times a game and not act as a huge goal threat of creative spark, but his energy and his breaking up of play from in the oppositions half is vital. He's a true dark horse of this side.
I really think what you guys need is someone who can link up play from outside the box like you said and Okazaki offers plenty of that, Vardy and Okazaki should be left to start but bringing on Ileanacho as an impact sub might do wonders, he scored bulk of his goal as an impact sub but then again, City had opposition team camped in their own half so it was easy to get a goal with all that pressure

Too early to say for reasons Stan has mentioned. Didn't play particularly well at Huddersfield but then again the whole team didn't.
My worry with him is that he won't work with Vardy. I get the feeling we may have bought yet another forward who you'd play with Okazaki, rather than with Vardy, just like Slimani is. I wonder if it's a long-term replacement for Vardy.
I think he prefers being the main man up front which will definitely not work with Vardy like you said and I don't think he can do what Vardy does for Leicester like playing on a counter it fighting it out with CBs but let's wait and see anyway, will he be playing this weekend?

It was nice to see him finally get some playing time even though he has been playing with the u23. He had a few good runs but the competition didnt test him defensively as the game was pretty much over. against Burton it looked like he was playing more as a lwb and martial was playing more in the middle.
Hopefully he can stay healthy cause he is the only natural LB the team has.
Hopefully he stays fit enough to earn back his place, noticed looks much happier than last season? always smiling and stuff

No one will get full control over transfers at Liverpool or very few other clubs. It seems to me that any alternatives offered to Klopp instead of Van Dijk when he became unobtainable, he obviously doesn't fancy. Whereas Rodgers accepted the bottom of the barrel option when we signed Balotelli for example, when he couldn't get Sanchez as the Suarez replacement. Either way, it's the manager that will get the stick. Klopp will get it when our defensive options are running short on numbers and quality. Just like Rodgers got it when the players signed under his name turned out to be poor. Everyone else involved will continue to get away with it.
True but there are other options even better than Van Dijk, Van Dijk alone won't improve your defence, having teenagers play in full back positions isn't even helping, if you were to ask me, I think you guys need serious restructuring at the back like Man City did but I don't think Klopp will ever spend that much on defenders cause I don't think he sees those positions as something really critical to what he's looking to achieve with the team

@Teso dos Bichos How was Shaw against Burton? was his performance encouraging? I saw be scored an offside goal meaning he's ready to have a go at defenders?

Non existent?
Ok then

How has Ileanacho done so far? I know there were some Leicester fans that tag him as one of the next big thing who will score many many goals, has he been playing well?

It's stubbornness to be honest. I recall Rafa Benitez saying the same thing at Napoli a few years ago. While I'm in no place to judge Klopp at Liverpool, I will say if a manager is so stubborn to follow what he wants most and not fix the blatant issue, then they've lost it.
Exactly, surely Klopp doesn't love losing, right? funny enough, at Dortmund, he had a pretty good defence in 2010, 2011.

Mess
we have one of the best attacking line ups around. Just need to sort the defence.
Don't worry, it's coming.
I wouldn't call Mane Firm Salah best attacking lineup, I've seen you guys play against Palace and City and it was Meh, when there's space for Salah and Mane to run into, they sure create chances but you meet a proper defence, they are non existent, Firm spends most of his time in midfield with nobody spearheading your attack and Salah misses chances like crazy

No, Rodgers was a busted flush at Liverpool.
Klopp's bewildering refusal to fix the centre back-goalkeeper situation is odd though, there's not often I feel able to actually judge a manger's decision but this does seem ridiculous.
If the problem is that obvious, I mean the defensive problems then why hasn't he addressed that? Clearly he sees it week-in week-out right? 4 transfer windows now?
I think Rodgers would have done better if he's handed full control over transfers, Rodgers had his hands tied when he was there, signing players like Lambert and Ings no thanks to FSG
-
Would Rogers had done better assuming he had stayed at Liverpool with what he's doing at Celtic cause I really like Klopp but playing attacking football against top teams doesn't cut it EPL

The Banter in this thread is just unreal, lol

Haven't seen much of Matic before now but after Real Madrid and now West Ham, he's really good, having Mata in the team brings more dimension to our attack but Herrera is way too good to be sitting on the bench. The double pivot with Mkhy, Rash and Mata roaming in front of Pogba and Matic looks really good.

Morata and Fabinho... wrap the deal up!

Damn that was funny but in the Barcelona match, De Bruyne actually played full back and Sterling end product is crap though, wouldn't be surprised if he played full back, might be the new Carvajal

Her 2013 9/10

Just finished Stranger Things, watching Family Guy now, hilarious.

Morata would be a really good signing!
