Liverpool have expressed an interest in Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Manu Kone, according to Bild.

 

Liverpool - who appointed Jorg Schmadtke as their sporting director on Tuesday - have told Kone they are ready to enter negotiations with Gladbach.
