He's been consistently good on the pitch for a number of years and it must be frustrating for him knowing he hasn't lost his place because of his own form. I'd like to think after 10+ years at this level that we'd have the foresight to plan for a goalkeeper wanting to leave every summer. Im quite surprised he signed the extension in the first place given he's made it known he's always wanted to finish his career at Valencia.
