MP Criticises Lack of BAME Coaches

Labour MP David Lammy says he is disappointed that England are not planning to take a BAME coach to the World Cup.

Manager Gareth Southgate's staff for the tournament in Russia this summer will not include any coaches of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic background - despite a January pledge to make the FA more inclusive and diverse.

We are taking a LAME coach instead

There still is an issue. I mean a black player didn't play for England until the 80s I think. We have to make sure ethnic minority coaches get the same opportunities. After that it is up to the individual coaches.
