Dave
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers wants Scott Bain to sign for Celtic on a permanent deal but is facing competition from Hearts and Hibs, Sky Sports News understands. The goalkeeper joined Celtic on loan in January from Dundee and has made three Scottish Premier League appearances following Craig Gordon's knee injury. The 26-year-old's contract at Dundee finishes at the end of this season but Rodgers insists he has a future in Glasgow.
Inverted
He's done quite well overall so I'd definitely say he wouldn't be a bad signing, but I do feel that if we looked around Europe there are better goalies out there well within reach financially. And I wouldn't want him to sign just to be a backup, considering how much Scotland needs a quality young goalie.
