Dave
Diego Reyes believes Mexico will lift the FIFA World Cup Trophy at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow – and he has a good reason why people shouldn’t consider him “crazy” for saying it. Nobody gave El Tri a chance on winning the Men’s Olympic Football Tournament London 2012, but they stunned a Brazil team including Thiago Silva, Marcelo, Hulk and Neymar in the Final at Wembley. “It’s very exciting – the World Cup, which is important for all footballers, is coming,” the 25-year-old Porto defender told Marca. “It’s a dream to be there. I had the chance to go to a World Cup and I know what it’s like. “We’re going there to win it. Many will label us crazy, but they did the same at the Olympic Games. I see myself as a world champion – it’s not crazy to say it.”
