Dave Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 Everton are targeting Bayer Leverkusen left-back Wendell as a long-term successor to Leighton Baines, according to Sky sources. Wendell, 24, made 30 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga side last season and is being looked at as a replacement for the 33-year-old Baines. Everton are also interested in signing Hertha Berlin's Marvin Plattenhardt, who is currently at the World Cup with Germany and started in their defeat to Mexico.
